• In 2011, DC Bilingual had the sixth highest combined gains among over 120 DCPS and Charter elementary schools.

• DC Bilingual was selected by The Achievement Network in 2011 as a showcase school in the area of Data-driven Instruction.

Highlights of Community Impact and Achievements in Healthy Living

• In 2011, DC Bilingual was awarded the USDA Health Schools Challenge Award with Distinction.

• DC Bilingual students collect funds annually for the Pennies for Patients campaign and participate in the DC Walk for the Homeless.
