Jasmine Musgrave serves as Senior Designer and Manager of Marketing and Communications at the Trust for the National Mall.  Prior to joining the trust, Jasmine spent time consulting with small businesses and non-profit organizations on business development, branding, marketing, and communications, and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others by writing and telling their stories.

Jasmine was the former manager of marketing at AfricanAncestry.com, specializing in e-commerce and marketing, and prior to that role, she spent nearly ten years at Easterseals specializing in communications, marketing, and development, and managing donor relations marketing; re-branding projects; production of ongoing internal and external newsletters; development of online and print material for regional and national campaigns; social media management; special events; donor relations and annual giving management.  

In addition to her previous work experience, Jasmine also spent eight years as a researcher/writer at TSymmetry, Inc., researching and writing monthly reports on the progress and struggles of the implementation of healthcare information technology (HIT). She also spent several months implementing an internal “how-to” guide on proper grammar and punctuation use.

Jasmine has a Masters of Arts in Strategic Communications, Advocacy & Social Impact from American University in Washington, D.C., and has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature, as well as a Minor in French Language, from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She has a Childhood Development Associate (CDA) in Early Childhood Education and is a member of the Catholic University of America Alumni Association Board of Directors. She was a founding member of the DC Bilingual Equity and Diversity Council and is the former President of the DC Bilingual Public Charter School Parent Teacher Association (DCBPTA) in Washington, D.C., where she also serves as a member of the Board of Directors. Jasmine also serves on the Saint Anselm’s Abbey School Parent Association (SAASPA) in Washington, D.C.

Jasmine loves spending time with her husband and children, reading, playing the piano, doing arts and crafts, graphic design, writing and blogging, volunteering as a vocalist, and researching and sharing stories about Black history and Washington, D.C. history.
