Marcela Trask is a bilingual international development professional with over 15 years of experience leading and analyzing programs across government and nonprofit organizations. She has served with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of State, the Peace Corps, and USAID-funded initiatives, focusing on program analysis, financial oversight, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement across Latin America, Asia, and the United States.
Marcela has been an active member of the DCB community since 2015. She served as President of the DCB Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for two years and continued in an advisory role for a third year, providing guidance on school initiatives, community engagement, and operational priorities.
As a member of the DCB Board of Directors, Marcela is committed to promoting high-quality bilingual education and ensuring that DCB students and families thrive in an equitable and inclusive environment. Outside of her professional work and board service, she enjoys exploring Latin American culture and practicing her Ecuadorian family recipes, traveling, volunteering in community development initiatives, and spending time with her family.
